Mias grew up in the professional hunting industry, hunting alongside his uncle, Carl Labuschage who had hunted Africa for 30 years. Mias decided to follow in his uncles footsteps and started, Lungile Safaris, and is now the owner of a very reputable safari operation. 
Mias also obtained further degrees in Business Psychology and Tourism, which makes him a very knowledgeable business man. Mias is a passionate hunter himself and shot his first animal at the tender age of 6 years. At the age of 37 he has hunted 37 of the 65 huntable species in South Africa, which includes the Big 5, also known as dangerous game. After many years of tracking numerous animals in the bush, Mias has become an experienced Professional Hunter, and his successful reputation is proof thereof. Mias has successfully hunted Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard and Hippo for his own trophy gallery. Mias is also well known throughout the South African hunting industry for his catering for African outfitters on big & plains game in his wide known hunting areas. Majority of hunting is done on “walk-n-stalk” methods which promote a fair chase for hunter and prey. Mias is a true example of a Hunting Professional that does not see hunting as a job, but as a lifestyle!
